Date & Time — Enter the exact birth time if known. The Hour pillar (and which Luck Pillar you're in) depends on it. Hours near the branch boundaries (1 am, 3 am, 5 am… every 2 hours) can shift the Hour pillar.

Birth Place — Start typing a city and select from the list. This applies Local Mean Time correction, adjusting clock time to solar time using your longitude. Without a place, the Hour pillar may be off by one branch.

Gender — Determines the direction of your Luck Pillars (forward or backward through the cycle).

Reading the chart

The four pillars (Year · Month · Day · Hour) each govern a different life domain: roots & society, career & parents, self & spouse, children & vision. The Day pillar is your Day Master — the core of your identity.

Hidden stems — The sub-elements inside each branch, shown in the middle row. These carry additional elemental energy that influences the pillar quietly from below.

Luck Pillar — The 10-year cycle you're currently in, highlighted with a gold border. Each pillar shifts the chart's energetic climate for that decade.

Annual — The current year's pillar, shown for quick reference alongside the natal chart.
