How to use this Bagua ▶
Setting up your map
BTB (Front Door) mode — The default view. Stand inside facing your front door and align the bottom row of the Bagua to that wall. Career is always at the front, Wealth at the far left, Relationships at the far right.
Compass mode — Switches to classical directional alignment using a compass bearing. North is Career, South is Fame, Southeast is Wealth, and so on. Each sector also shows its Lo Shu number.
Switching views — Use the BTB / Compass toggle above the grid. Your saved cures and notes carry across both views — the underlying sectors are the same, only the orientation labels change.
Reading the map
Tap to flip — Tap any sector to flip it from the front summary (trigram, element, area name, what it governs) to the back detail (cures, items to avoid, color palette, body association, and affirmation).
Glossary terms — Dotted underlined words (trigram names, element names, Tai Qi) are clickable. Tap them to open a popup explaining the classical meaning.
Element filter — Tap any element chip in the legend (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) to highlight only the sectors governed by that element. Tap again or press Clear to reset.
Flying Star overlays
Daily / Monthly / Annual stars — Toggle the star buttons above the grid (Compass view only) to overlay the current visiting Flying Star on each sector. Hover or tap any star badge to see its name, nature, and cure recommendation.

Activate → Keep this space clear and uncluttered. Earth tones and grounding objects support the entire map.

Activate → White or metallic accents, round shapes. Honor your creative projects, art, and playfulness.
& Self
Self-cultivation — study, wisdom, meditation, and the quiet inner work of knowing yourself.
Activate → Books, crystals, calming blue-green hues. Create space for stillness and self-study.
& Life Path
Your path and calling — work, direction, and the flow of your life's journey. Sits at the front door, where opportunity enters.
Activate → Water features, mirrors, or dark tones. Keep the front door active, clear, and welcoming.

Mentors, benefactors, and helpful people — plus travel and the support that arrives right when you need it.
Activate → Images of mentors or travel destinations, gray or silver accents, round shapes. Attract support and guidance.
